What we're building
Spotonix is the Agentic BI Analyst. It learns your business — a per-customer Context Graph built from your schema, query history, models, and BI assets. It composes verified plans in BI Algebra over your own Segments and Calculations, surfacing ambiguity before any SQL runs. And it compounds — every verified answer makes the next question faster and more trustworthy.
Unlike text-to-SQL alone, the LLM never writes the answer directly. It proposes a plan, and the system reasons about, verifies, reuses, and explains that plan — so the same accepted plan produces the same SQL, every time. That's the hard, durable engineering we're hiring for.
Who we're looking for
We're at an exciting, early stage and hiring two founding engineering roles. Deep expertise in one is what we're after — bring it, and we'll teach you the rest.
01
BI Engine Engineers
You build query engines: relational algebra, query planning and optimization, MDX/OLAP, and execution across warehouses. You make verified plans compile to SQL that's correct every time. Background in a DB engine, MDX/BI engine, or query optimizer is ideal.
02
Knowledge Platform Engineers
You build the Context Graph: ingesting schema, query history, models, and BI assets into a semantic knowledge layer the system reasons over. Background in a data catalog, metadata platform, or ETL/knowledge-graph system shines here.
